MISSIONS AT CROSSROADS

The Crossroads Christian Church Missions Board oversees local, national and international ministry opportunities and resources in order to connect Crossroads to the world. Crossroads supports families and individual members in mission activities through prayer, assisting in obtaining resources and spiritual preparation. Below are listed some of the missions and/or missionaries that Crossroads is currently supporting.

Jadon is a young man, raised here at Crossroads, who has a passion to see God made famous throughout the nations. Using his gift of music, he lives to bring glory to God through worship. Jadon is currently on staff with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) Virginia where he is involved in discipling young people, leading worship and helping lead teams overseas. He has travelled to Brazil, Paraguay and Tanzania and will soon take a team to the Phillipines this summer to share the love of Jesus. God is opening doors for this young man to teach. He will be in Brazil for a week teaching on worship. To learn more about Jadon and how you can support his ministry, visit his website at www.jadonfranklin.com.

Pastor Paul Devakumar and his family have visited Crossroads many times over the past 25 years, sharing stories of faith and wisdom from India. Pastor Pat and Pastor Paul began their ministries together in 1988 and as the pastors became close friends, so did their church families. The focus of the IFCM ministry is teaching, preaching the word of God and multiplying disciples. Pastor Paul and his ministry have established over 300 churches throughout India and the number continues to grow as hundreds have been trained and sent into the mission fields to reach the un-reached millions with the Good News of the Gospel. As laborers together in the Lord, we can be actively be involved in the ministry of IFCM. Through prayer and donations we can support a missionary couple, help the poor and needy, assist in planting churches in unreached villages and sponsor children at the child development centers. To support IFCM, please contact the Crossroads office at 716.652.7356 or you can donate online through Crossroads’ e-Giving service.

Rebecca has visited Crossroads many times over the years. You may have seen her on the platform next to her husband Pastor Paul. They visit from India, always with words of encouragement and truth. Rebecca stands beside her husband in support and strength, a godly woman who has sacrificed her own wants and desires in order for people to come to know Christ. She is grounded in the Word of God and it has made her into a woman who is gentle, loving and full of the joy of the Lord.  In 2013,  Rebecca returned to India after a visit to Crossroads and was admitted to the intensive care unit of the hospital in renal failure. She has been on dialysis 3 times per week for four hours at a time ever since. It is the desire of Crossroads to come alongside the Devakumar’s as fellow laborers in Christ to help ease their burden. Because they do not have insurance we would like to assist with the finances to cover the cost of the dialysis treatments and allow her to receive her medical care in a comfortable and clean environment. To support Rebecca’s medical care, contact the church office at 716.652.7356 or you can donate online through Crossroads’ e-Giving service.
