LIFE GROUPS

making big church small …

WHAT ARE LIFE GROUPS

Life Groups (or small groups) can be made up of eight to twelve individuals (sometimes larger) who gather to study God’s Word and discuss the issues and challenges of life that we all face. People grow best when they are connected in healthy small groups. We were never intended to do life alone, but were created for relationships. Crossroads Life Groups provide an atmosphere of learning about God while getting to know others. We grow in the knowledge of Jesus and encourage each other to live it out.

Below are our upcoming Spring groups:

Walking with the Holy Spirit

Norm Reformat

Join us as we learn about the Holy Spirit and how he works in the life of a believer. Many Christians have heard of the Holy Spirit, but are not aware of him working in our lives and how much we need to know him. A Christian cannot walk as a Christian without him. Norm will lead this group at his home (91 S. Blossom Road, Elma) beginning Thursday evening, April 19th at 7pm.

A Man's Guide to the Spiritual Disciplines

Ben Powis

Spiritual disciplines are to the believer what medical school is to the doctor. Spiritual strength, like surgical skill or athletic excellence, requires training and practice. In A Man’s Guide to the Spiritual Disciplines, Patrick Morley highlights twelve habits that will strengthen your walk with Christ. By presenting each discipline with a concise overview, several examples, and application ideas to get you going, this powerful study will help you develop the maturity every man of God was designed to reflect. This men's study will meet on Saturdays at the Iron Kettle Restaurant in East Aurora at 8am. Cost is $8 for book and breakfast (optional).
