FALL LIFE GROUPS

making big church small …

WHAT ARE LIFE GROUPS

Life Groups (or small groups) can be made up of eight to twelve individuals (sometimes larger) who gather to study God’s Word and discuss the issues and challenges of life that we all face. People grow best when they are connected in healthy small groups. We were never intended to do life alone, but were created for relationships. Crossroads Life Groups provide an atmosphere of learning about God while getting to know others. We grow in the knowledge of Jesus and encourage each other to live it out. Below is a list of our upcoming Life Groups.

HOW TO JOIN A LIFE GROUP

To sign up for a Life Group, you can register below, on our Events page or the Sunday morning Communication Card that can be found in our bulletin.

Sundays

A Brief Survey of the Bible – The Bible is the inspired Word of God, and over the centuries it has changed people’s lives and led them to God. Yet sometimes it can be a difficult book to understand. The culture in which the Bible was written is so different from our own that at times we struggle to understand what it means or how it is relevant to our modern lives. In this video Bible study, Bible professors John Walton and Mark Strauss give you the background you need to successfully understand even the difficult parts of the Word of God. They provide an overview of the Bible’s key themes, show what the teachings meant to the people at the time, and explain how those teachings apply to your life today. By the end, you will have a greater understanding of Scripture, know how all the books work together, and understand what God has done to make a way for you to come to him.

Walk in Faith – God’s Word is to be believed in everything it declares. It takes faith to seek a heavenly Kingdom when the world tells you to store up treasures on earth and seek the comforts of life now. It takes faith to walk in the promises of God. We will hear from some prominent teachers of the Word today on faith, enter into God’s Word and begin to learn what it means to walk by faith, not by sight. We will discuss how the spiritual law of  receiving works for anything good or bad, positive or negative. How Satan uses God’s laws to deceive us. Why your future is stored up in your heart and your words. God has a plan for your life. Take a stand and walk the way God intended you to.
