WHAT ARE LIFE GROUPS

Life Groups (or small groups) can be made up of eight to twelve individuals (sometimes larger) who gather to study God’s Word and discuss the issues and challenges of life that we all face. People grow best when they are connected in healthy small groups. We were never intended to do life alone, but were created for relationships. Crossroads Life Groups provide an atmosphere of learning about God while getting to know others. We grow in the knowledge of Jesus and encourage each other to live it out.

The Book of Hebrews

The Book of Hebrews is one of the most beautifully written and theologically rich books in the New Testament. This 12-week study will spur discussion through thoughtful questions, show how each passage unveils the Gospel, tie the text in with the whole story of Scripture, illuminate the doctrines taught in each passage,invite you to discover practical implications and help you to better understand and apply God's word. Pastor Bill Pomerhn leads this morning study beginning Sunday, September 30th at 8am in the Crossroads Bistro Room.

The Book of Jonah

The Book of Jonah shows that God is a merciful and gracious God. A reluctant Prophet, Jonah originally ran from God before delivering a message of repentance to the nation of Nineveh. Join us and explore in more depth, the Book of Jonah and why God chose him for this purpose. Ron & Loretta Folkman lead this afternoon study beginning Sunday, September 30th at 12pm in the Crossroads Bistro Room.

A class in Crossroads' Journey program, this dynamic time is set aside for personal growth and intimacy with God. Greg and Karen Corral lead this 7-week course encouraging, equipping and challenging you to grow in Christ. Weekly topics include: New Covenant, Holy Spirit, Life Together, Why Read the Bible and Prayer. This afternoon course begins Sunday, September 30th at 12pm in the Crossroads City Room.

In this 6-week women's study, you will learn what happens when the Holy Spirit moves powerfully within a church. You will learn how to make room for the Spirit's action in your life and in your church. God wants you to work through your gifts and talents to enable you to do what only He can do. You will learn to listen for the voice of the Spirit in prayer and how to apply God's Word to your life. Bernie Powis and Tressa Schneider lead this study beginning Tuesday, October 2nd at 6:30pm. Cost for book is $11. Childcare available on request. This women's study is also offered on Wednesday mornings.

If you are a young woman or recently married and would like to gather for recipes, cooking lessons and a great Bible study dedicated just for you, then join us on Tuesday evenings at 217 Beech Road, East Aurora.
