LIFE GROUPS

making big church small …

WHAT ARE LIFE GROUPS

Life Groups (or small groups) can be made up of eight to twelve individuals (sometimes larger) who gather to study God’s Word and discuss the issues and challenges of life that we all face. People grow best when they are connected in healthy small groups. We were never intended to do life alone, but were created for relationships. Crossroads Life Groups provide an atmosphere of learning about God while getting to know others. We grow in the knowledge of Jesus and encourage each other to live it out.

Water … our world couldn't exist without it. It covers our planet and fills our bodies. It keeps us alive. Jesus knew how important water was. Maybe that's why He called himself the Living Water. He was making a claim and an offer too good to ignore. H2O is about water, the Living Water Jesus said He offered. If you are thirsty, you owe it to yourself to consider what He said...and who He is. H2O is a powerful group-oriented DVD experience designed to create a safe atmosphere where people are comfortable considering the person of Jesus Christ. Childcare on request. BATTLEFIELD OF THE MIND

Dave & Dianne Morse

Very often we are hampered by negative thought patterns that keep us from becoming the overcoming men and women God created us to be. We don’t see ourselves as God sees us because we believe the lies that satan has told us through the years. We’ll learn how wrong thinking patterns produce problems in our lives, how to deal with these negative attitudes and emotions and how to have the mind of Christ in every situation. Don’t go around that same mountain again and again. Instead learn how to renew your mind, walk in your kingdom authority, and live in the freedom God intends you to have. This course is great both for those who’ve never read the book “Battlefield of the Mind” and as a refresher for those of us who have! Class meets at Crossroads from 6:30-8pm beginning Thursday, 9/26. Cost: ``Battlefield of the Mind`` by Joyce Meyer (helpful but not mandatory). Childcare on request.

JESUS AS KING

We all know Jesus as Savior, but have you ever known Him as King? In this study, we will see Him as King in Old and New Testament Scriptures and get a deeper appreciation of His Majesty.
