LIFE GROUPS

making big church small …

WHAT ARE LIFE GROUPS

Life Groups (or small groups) can be made up of eight to twelve individuals (sometimes larger) who gather to study God’s Word and discuss the issues and challenges of life that we all face. People grow best when they are connected in healthy small groups. We were never intended to do life alone, but were created for relationships. Crossroads Life Groups provide an atmosphere of learning about God while getting to know others. We grow in the knowledge of Jesus and encourage each other to live it out.

Below are our upcoming Spring groups:

It's Not Good to Be Alone

Pastor Pat

Marriage is God’s covenant. It's the foundation of all cultures, societies and generations and a strong marriage reflects the Glory of the Lord. Your marriage is BIGGER than you and you are not alone! God will fight for your covenant if you allow Him (Joshua 9).

Pastor Pat and his wife Dorald have been married for 48 years, have raised 3 children and have 8 grandchildren. Join them on Wednesdays, beginning April 10th at 6:30pm as they share Scripture and life experiences in marriage. Even if you are not yet married, it's good to know what’s ahead, so come and learn what Scripture means when God said, “It's not good for man to be alone.”

Thursday Groups

The Adult Jesus

Norm Reformat

In this 6-week course, we'll go through Scriptures pertaining to grace, sin, and the cross through the life of Jesus here on earth. He came as a child knowing what the will of the Father was for Him and the struggles of our humanity, yet he still came and went to the Cross (1 John 4:2). Norm Reformat will lead this group at his home (Elma) beginning Thursday, April 11th at 7pm.

H2O

Bill & Linda Seipel

Water … our world couldn't exist without it. It covers our planet and fills our bodies. It keeps us alive. Jesus knew how important water was. Maybe that's why He called himself the Living Water. He was making a claim and an offer too good to ignore. H2O is about water, the Living Water Jesus said He offered. If you are thirsty, you owe it to yourself to consider what He said...and who He is. H2O is a powerful group-oriented 7-week DVD experience designed to create a safe atmosphere where people are comfortable considering the person of Jesus Christ. Bill and Linda Seipel lead this course at their home (Cowlesville) beginning Thursday, April 11th from 6pm - 8:30pm (dinner provided).
